Information for you
Dental sealants are a preventative coating that cover the deep grooves in molars with a resin material (similar to that of a white filling) to help deter food from lingering and causing decay.

Fluoride Rinse
Fluoride rinses like Opti-Rinse are commonly recommended in our practice to individuals who are at higher risk for tooth decay.
A biteplane is an appliance most commonly made from hard acrylic that fits to either the upper or lower arch of the teeth. The purpose of the appliance is to keep the teeth separated, relax muscles and protect the teeth from habits such as clenching or grinding that can cause excessive tooth wear or damage.

MI Paste + Remin
MI Paste and Remin are re-mineralizing agents that can be used for those who are at high risk for decay and prefer not to use products that contain fluoride. These products use hydroxyapatite which has been found to aid in re-mineralizing tooth enamel and preventing tooth decay.
New dentures always feel strange when first placed in your mouth. Several days or even weeks may be required for you to feel accustomed to them.

Oral Probiotics
Certain strains of probiotics, like the ones used in the BioGaia line, have been shown to reduce harmful bacteria in the mouth which can improve halitosis (bad breath) and lessen inflammation.
