Our Dentist
Dr. Emily Wallace
Dr. Emily Wallace worked in the Toronto area for eight years as a dental hygienist before moving to the east coast in 2006 to continue her studies in Dentistry. She graduated from Dalhousie University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science and academic honors.
Dr. Wallace was accepted into Dalhousie’s Faculty of Dentistry and graduated in 2015. She then furthered her dental studies in a Pediatric General Practice Residency Program at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, where she gained additional experience in hospital-based dentistry, conscious sedation techniques and dental traumatic injuries. Dr. Wallace is board certified in both Canada and the United States.
Her ambition to own and operate a dental office in a rural community became a reality when she found the perfect match in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, where she is the sole owner and Dentist at Bridgetown Family Dentistry. She works closely and collaboratively with several dental specialists in the surrounding area in order to provide optimum care and treatment options to patients. She recently furthered her interest in Forensic Dentistry, and completed a 1-Year Certificate program at McGill University in Forensic Odontology.

Dr. Wallace is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Nova Scotia Dental Association, and the East Coast Endodontic Study club.
